Would be great to go but, being in our lockdown I’ve already had to cancel a ski trip and was fortunate to get a full refund. Airlines are not so helpful.

Yea man I live about 40K's from where the Ausarmorfest will be held.

I had plans to head up for it this year but the latest outbreak has killed them. I'm regional so not in lockdown but I can't see Qld opening the borders to NSW anytime soon. Maybe next year.

It's 4 weeks away let's hope for the best.

We were going to have a model display and 'tank walk' there, but had to cancel due to half the team not being granted time off.
Cost of the drive and associated costs blew out once the numbers were reduced.
I still plan to go, but on a quieter weekend, perhaps when open hatch day is back.

I saw the news this morning that SA is locked down till the 28 August so yea , anyways I'll be there on the 28th at least and if any other players will be there Sat , Sun I could say G'day out in the car park or something.
Herman I was thinking of taking my RC ship model of a Flower class Corvette just to show it to the public but is it only tank models ?

That I know of,yes.
But, they are very tight on regulations and public liability insurance,so just turning up will not work.
The owner has millions of dollars tied up in real tanks,. He's not cutting corners on anything else !!
