I've seen some crazy rat rods, but I guess there is always room for more crazyNAB wrote:I was at Santa Pod once and there was a rat look car there, very well done. He had a supermarket trolley handle complete with £1 unlock and chain mechanism as his spoiler lol.

Working on a cool light feature and other stuff. Still waiting for my engine guard plates, etc, to arrive.
A couple of fuel tanks attached for now

120 Lumens flashlights with 3 output modes controlled by an on/off switch.
Only use 1.2v each! All that's missing is a laser sight for the airsoft. A green laser would look cool I think.

Not sure what you call these things that are attached on top of the turret, or what they are for. For hoisting of the turret? There are 3 of them. Anyway I used the plastic shackles that came with the kit to make oversized ones.

Excuse the nasty looking tracks, they are next for some TLC. Not finished yet with the exterior, still much to be done. Not made my mind up regarding side fenders, maybe just go with the front ones.

Re: Tamiya King Tiger custom build
Maybe silly of me to keep this build thread going given I ever only see a dozen members online at any given day, so not exactly a hive of activity. However I will finish what I started.
The side fenders spent some time in the chop shop and I fitted the engine grill plates on the underside rather than on top. I started getting Motörhead vibes with the tank and they do have a German theme, so I'm running with it

Lemmy would be proud !!
You could crew it with figures that have gas masks on, they look quite intimidating.
I will try to find a pic of what they look like

Looking great. Don't worry about activity. It's a nice thing for you to look back over
