Hey all I just thought I would start a thread on this.

As we all know many of the shows over the last 2 years have been postponed or cancelled but some are still going ahead and I just wondered if anyone was going to the ones that are and where it may be for those of us that are not aware of them.

There are 3 that I know of in august

We have market harborough early august, I will add the dates when I remember where I put them
Followed by Yorkshire wartime experience
There’s also another small debut show on august bank holiday weekend in Melton Mowbray and finally
There’s one somewhere near Kettering in September I think, forgebear maybe able to shed some light on the date for this as he has been there in the past

As we are now just under a week away from the market harborough show, I offer a teaser of what may be one of my display stands although some of the lychee foliage maybe change for off cuts from conifers

HEC - Hobby Expo China - starts in 19 days assuming the new Delta variant outbreak here doesn't curtail it. Already folks are cancelling from know outbreak zones since they're subject to 2 week quarantine upon arriving Hangzhou. At the very least, we'll all be wearing masks in 40C heat.

They've got a large sand table set up for the tankers this year so should be fun.

Covid-19 resurgence worries are here in the US, too, Sailor. Some of the western US hit a bit over 40 a few weeks ago. Such heat is now common in Hangzhou, is it? The big exhibition hall is air-conditioned, right?
