Do you think that a T-34/85 would tow the SG43 machine gun when the infantry were riding the tanks into battle? I’m looking at a set of Soviet soldiers by joytoy and it includes the machine gun on wheels and I wanted to add these to my tank

Probably not tow, but secured on the engine deck.............most definitely.

In my opinion that MG will look ridiculously too small when towed, but can be OK when carried. It is not only a small gun, but also in 1/18 scale, so it will be very noticeable there is something wrong when towed.

If you want to tow a MG, maybe a better idea would be a maxim MG. A friend of mine did this one for me:

My only reservation would be that the set is in 1/18 which is maybe not so bad for the figures but the gun would look very small compared to the tank especially if it's being towed

Would the figures match the winter theme of my T-34? Not sure if the had winter uniforms. And thank you guys for helping with the sg-43. I just wasn’t sure
