Hello everybody,
this is one more actual building : the D9R "Doobi" of the IDF.
I have startet this project last year together with our friend Thomas. But sorry that Thomas has died in March this year and so I have a break at this build and I will take it up again when the M60 will be finished.
The design is based on a toy dozer from BRUDER. You can compare the huge dozer to a T55-tank and a 1/16-figure :
Some more pics about the work on this model :

Nice work Karl. Good to see different types of projects apart from the normal tanks.

Hi Karl,
This is a pretty remarkable bit of machinery to undertake in workable model form. It is nice as well as unusual to see something like this.

the gearbox ist selfmade with an exactly fitting width. The housing is made of filament 3D print with inserted ball bearings and additional support ball bearings on the outside of the hull. The gear engine is RB35 with transmission 1:100; the secondary transmission is 1:1. All is powered with 11,1 V because I need the voltage to operate the dozer- and ripper-cylinders
Hey Ralph,
thanx for comment ! Yes, it is not a battle tank, but it is a military vehicle. And most important : it will enlarge my IDF collection. And I already found a name for this monster : "The Punisher".
