Well i have been busy, but i finally managed to get round to sticking my own turret on a Panzer iii chassis
Probably not going to get to this anytime soon, but the Wirblewind turret on a Panzer ii was done at later stages of the war as they had many iii chassis available compared to originally design Panzer IV chassis. So on a IV chassis was a Wirblewind, on a iii chassis it was Flakpanzer iii
Anyway here are some initial pictures of mine just starting

I am hoping to get a IV chassis somepoint so i can do a Wirblewind, but i have also started work on an Ostwind conversion, so watch this space

I decided to make some figures for my wirblewind fit within the small confines of the turret

It just about works, but damn there is not much space in these things. I swear the youths would have been called in to work in these as a fully grown adult would struggle to squeeze in, let alone move their arms

By the time the Wirlwind entered service, small youths and undersized servicemen combed out of rear echelon formations were about all of the manpower Germany had left.

Will

it's static? or i your model it's possible to fit servos to move the guns?

i just dusteff of my wirbelwind project, i purchased the an-bric-modellbau one, and it's a pain in the arse, this thing is impossible to put together, the turret is made of two halves that do not match in any way

the gun carriage i will have to do it DIY, because it was a resin model, so just asking if yours it is prepared to be rc, if it can be disassembled to install servos, etc ...

best regards!

No worries.
Yeah works on a servo, I have also had a few customers convert their servo to run like a motor and then hook up to henglong control board and then also put a pot inline to slow the motor speed.

The side loaders are a little slightly undersized like they might be youths loading the magazines. The Space is uber tight, ou would not want to be in this turret with guns firing! No space, loud and hot
