Oooh, that's cool

Bit curious as to why only half the road wheels have those little holes halfway between the rims and the wheel nuts

I am surprised to see a next gen Challenger without active defense like the Trophy being installed on Merkava and Abrams as a way to protect tank and crew, and the army as a whole against attrition in a low volume context. One tank killer team with a low cost AT launcher can destroy 1% of the British tank force with one missile. The lessons of the Syrian conflict should be studied. Maybe for a later upgrade...

Challenger 3 is planned to recieve an APS, the super early prototype we have images of is missing most of the systems, it will likely eventually have most of the systems from the Black Knight testbed

Good, thanks. What was shown was a pretty naked Challenger

A public "dog & pony show" is only the marketing dept's spin.
The real thing that was not shown will be next benchmark others need to raise up to.

The Tanks longevity on the battlefield is backed by every axis of mutual support rather than its own inherent toughness, so a true vertically integrated fighting platform has to be to only way forward.
"Digital Turret" being the defining prose................or, for me, 'X-Box Soldiers' for that the word Drone or UAV etc etc mark the future of armed conflict.
I just wish the political infrastructure that actually call the shots on these people & weapons could have an 'Enhanced Capability' that reflects their level of responsibility which we all live under.

Love the camo but think it may be a bit too bold for the field. :haha:
