Scratch built LVT-2 (wip)
Hi,
This is my attempt at building an LVT-2 from scratch.
As those who already know my models, this one as usual will not be rc at all.
Thanks for looking.

Cool! I'll be watchin'! RC or not, this will be a model of a funky-yet-famous vehicle. Do you have the following book?
Doyle, David. LVT[4] Amtrac: the Most Widely Used Amphibious Tractor of World War II. Legends of Warfare: Ground. Schiffer Military, 2020. ISBN: 978-0-7643-6010-7.

Absolutely a great build. Congrats Manu!!!
Sorry for my spelling mistakes, I try to do better every day...

A great model is being built here,
it seems to me it would not take much to install a gearbox on those sprockets and put metal pins on those tracks to simply drive it around. Adding some Marines in the compartment would create a Diorama on its own.

It looks as if that track tension adjuster might actually work! Thanks for putting up more pictures. What a great model of an interesting vehicle.

Hi everyone,
I'm unearthing this post as I eventually found some time and suitable will to go on with this beast.
Not that much though, I'm still struggling with the cab which is a hell of a nightmare and I finally ended the water deflectors.
I also added the mg rail.
Thanks for looking and... stay tuned!
