Hey Tanker, you mentioned you mind smoother so this is probably not your cup of tea er whiskey but maybe you could explore it and see and if you don't like it then ship it to the UK, I will happily drink it for you.

Not sure what your budget is but this is a well balanced 18 yr old, which although peaty, it's well refined and leaves a lovely smokey sweetness on the palate.

The way shipping is nowadays by the time the bottle gets to you it would be a 20 year old scotch.
