Fitting working lights onto/into the smaller 1/16 vehicles can be a pain because even the tiny pre-wired 3mm LEDs can be too big,
I have pin vised a hole through the inert rear light unit of my (Brilliant) WCP Kubel and pushed into place a Red 6 volt "Grain of Wheat" filament bulb and with a similar bulb but this time blue I did the same to the Kubels rear Notek unit although the existing unit was replaced by a similar but two piece item from "Shapeways", These useful lights are available from----

@ £3.1 x 5 bulbs, They are available in all the usual colours and in various voltages these little wonders are pre-wired but it is up to you what connectors to use.

I had my Kublel’s lights all wired up including front/rear convoy and headlights. Then, like a dumb ass, I shorted something and destroyed my esc and some lights.
Now I have the new esc wired in and just two more LEDs and resistors left to replace and I’ll be back in business.
I’m looking forward to see how you acquire or buy detail parts for it. I might copy you shamelessly!

When I was in need of such bulbs to repair the PzIV and Jagdtiger, Forgebear suggested a site named Evans. Stateside and inexpensive. Ships everywhere.

Mr gunner does this shop you mention supply the hinges too, I’m struggling to source some hinges small enough for my Cromwell

Sorry young man, I haven't had dealings with them, I have no idea. I just posted a couple of examples of mini LED's to show what's available.

I always fit working brass hinges to my Panzer 4 front fenders and "Little Green Workshop" on E-Bay is my source. They used to have a website -------@ http://www.littlegreenworkshop.co.uk
But I have not been able to download it for a little while so I would suggest you try their place on e-bay.
The hinges are stated to be 1/12th but at 10mm x 8mm they look fine on my 1/16 Tanks

I will give some a try, it’s for the drivers and loaders hatches but I suppose you can only work with what you can get
