Hi Trev,

I've been to Bovvy numerous times and I would suggest leaving early to give yourself the max. time there. There is a huge amount to see and no probs with taking photos.
Not much nearby in the way of model shops so far as I know. The shop there does sell a few kits in the smaller scales, but nothing you won't be able to get cheaper from the suppliers reccommended on this forum and as I remember almost nothing in 1/16 scale.

What the shop does have though is a good collection of reference books.

Take plenty of camera memory, a set of spare batteries and I've no doubt you will thouroughly enjoy your visit

Peter
