Afternoon chaps,

Upgrading Heng Long electrics on my daughters pink Heng Long Panther to the dual sound stuff.

Now the rotation and elevation do not work. How does one wire it up to enable rotation and elevation again?

Sorry if there is a post with this info already - can’t find it!

I think they changed the order of the 8 pin wires, everything's on separate plugs now.

Thanks Tom, it’s not 6.0 though and only the rotation and elevation are in the wrong places.

Can I just switch the wire positions?

I'm a tad puzzled by which versions of HL's electronics you're upgrading from, and which to, Adam.
Is this an early versions up to 5.3? Here's the 8 pin connector for the 5.3 system, if it helps.

Gone from a crappy rx18 (I think!) to a newer dual sound. Black radio with silver label and a king tiger on the front.

The dual sound is the 5.3 version so it has different wiring in the turret. The Bb gun and elevation unit both need to be on separate 2 pin plugs and you will need to change the 8 pin daughter board to the one below

I’ll post a photo tomorrow - can you tell Heng Long is not my strong point!
