Hi All

      I have finally got to the stage of putting markings on my Tiger 1  and since I can't find any "833" decals I was wondering if anyone knew the font type that the germans used (I worked it out to be about font size 20 for a 1/16th Tiger).

All advice will be greatly appreciated

take a look at the tiger camo reference section there is lots of different number styles in there................cheers oz.

Testers makes a decal kit,you can print your own,also creeping death offers a downloadable book section that may be of help,3.00US per book.Many different books on painting and numbering axis tanks.Sax

            I have found a company which makes decals/transfers, and have also seen a transfer DIY kit, but it is now the question of what is the font to use/ask for?

I have a quite few fonts on the PC so I will just have to test "833" in each and every font!

Thats what Tony did on tiger205. He made his own using the transfer paper and he had me sat here for days going through all the fonts on the pc trying them out! Lol! In case you cant find the right style on your pc you can also download them free off the internet

Just google free fonts and you will come up with lots of sites if you dont have what you need on your pc

I had the creeping death sheet they can run a bit if you varnish over them

I hate to admit it but my fonts probably touch 4 figures (even got some Klingon!!)!

I will try and post a finished pic if I ever get my "Tiki" to finished, she may gain a few sisters before then
