Some of my old things.

All the knives ( exept the AK bayonet to the right) are ww1 or 2.
The rifle without bolt is a danish krag model 1889. Its deactivated and therefore on the wall.

The EK and the partybadge are genuine. The other badge i dont know about.

I also have a collection of shootable old rifles, but they are shown in an old tread.

Hey Dane61,

Nice! I started deer hunting with a .30-.40 Krag. Long, long ago. I've since retired from chasing whitetails (and any other sort of wild game) around.

Cheers,
Eric.

Hi Dane61,
The large badge next to the EK2 is a "Tag der deutschen Arbeit" the party badge with red field is not one I have seen before, is there a maker on the reverse?
All the best

Very cool pics! Love the coffee cup as well. Funny how the panzer crews wore skull and cross bones similar to the SS. Bet that may have caused some stress for some captured tank crews!

The party badge is DNSAP , the danish variant of the german party. It belonged to a relative who had a bad choice in politics.

I wanted to be a soldier in 1962 and the British Army was the only army in town at the time,
Who can say what I would have done if I was a 17 year old Dane in 1940.
Most young men don't think too deeply of matters politic especially when there is the prospect of women, ale and a punch up all that and free food, accommodation and a uniform.
What's that you say? You are going to pay me :haha: :haha: Bring it on.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
