My holiday build for 2020............ I had this kit for some time now and also collected pieces so that I can switch between SdKfz 234 2/3/4 versions. This PUMA kit has all the factory upgrades including ball bearings and metal drive shafts, as well as OEM 540 motor, servo and turret rotation kit. The OEM SdKfz 234/3 conversion kit has its own turret and 75mm Kwk37 main gun, and the DIY SdKfz 234/4 version will use the C21 75mm Pak40 as a main gun instead of the 75mm Kwk37 from the 234/3. It will be driven by a Clark Tk-60 PUMA board. Hopefully it will be able to deal with 8 wheel steering.........

Wow, fabulous project.

My only concern is the planned use of an Ultimate Soldier 1/18 plastic PAK 40 on such jewel. Might look undersized. Have you investigated if the Vandra 1/16 PAK40 resin kit could be a better fit ?

Looks like fun holiday project build. The Pak40 looks ok aswell.
Although if I were going for 1/16 I may be slightly biased with my own version haha

Yup, spent ages making the Pak40 and then spent months adding load more upgrades like recoil and turned metal barrel. Working independent suspension etc.

Any close ups of the servo recoil? Would love to see it.

Could do that, will need to build another one up, but yeah can do.
