HELP! TK60G2 Install question

Hi Folks

This is a standalone install not a plug & play in a HL or any other "standard" OEM configuration.

Do I need to install a jumper in the SW Connector on the board?

TIA,
Barry

Thanks Jimster!

I saw that but to me it's not specifically clear. I am not using a HL harness with a SW in the battery run so uncertain as to what they we telling me. After 45+ years in aviation electronics I look for specific directions, like install a jumper unless...... Maybe it's just my OCD! :problem:

Good to be cautious and ask. Boards are too expensive to damage in any way.

Hey Barry, I've done a couple of G2 installs (one in a tamiya abrams) if you've not already I'd highly recommend the high power slip ring from Stanley at RC tank legion.

I'm not sure what your turret rotation time is but I found I needed to get mine down to 3 or 4 seconds to be able to allow the gyro to keep up and not rubber band after your tank had finish a manouver. I can't recall which rotation you used but on mine I used the tamiya rotation but with a black cap can motor from a henglong recoil.
