Ooh! That milling machine and a lathe would be such fine complements to my drill press. You are getting all the great toys! I sure do enjoy seeing these videos of the SdKFz 251 in the making. Thank you!

Cheers
Toys needed for production of these models we bringing to life. Plus a bit of re training lol.
It's coming together, but more toys and bigger equipment needed for more future work.
I getting excited about these 251. It's nice doing soo much in house, but boy is it hard work fitting in around full.time job and family and commitments and getting over this long covid malarkey.
More.videos coming I promise.
Can't wait to see 10x 251 halftracks sitting side by side ready to go to their new owners.

So whilst finishing off the stock 251's we also had requests from various customers early on for certain modifications also
So this one is a Uhu setup and we are using a modified version of our 60cm searchlight to model the infra red unit, some parts still to change, but its starting to come out nicely

The lens deflectors will be removed as they would not be present in the infra red lamp unit

The unit rotates and elevates using some small 90° geared motor units which are coupled to small escs which will be hidden underneath.

Hello Will,
the model is unique and built entirely of brass by Manfred Zinnecker.
The front tyres look like asiatam but are smaller in diameter.

It's starting to look like a Hanomag assembly line. I wish I could visit to pick mine up at the factory door. Aber...so geht's.

You would be more than welcome to pickup in person.
But might be a long commute and more expensive than us just posting it
Production Line yes really. Its hard going fitting in around full time work and family life, but they are tantalisingly close now
Weather is also with us, so will be putting in primer soon
