What is the visual difference between V3 or V2 controllers?

There is no difference on the controller. The board is different.

version 2 has no anit track recoil on /off version 3 has got it if you look at the bottom right of a version 3 board next to the 8 pin socket you will see a small shiny diode on there is a very small flick swicth to turn off the track recoil

make sure if you are getting a tank that it has this most of them wont come with this option
