Nice find dougan if you keep an eye out in these shops you may also come across an accessory set with lots of useful bits in it for these tools as well, I bought one a couple of years ago for about a tenner and still using them now

LOL, I bought my 100 piece accessory set from them in a wooden case so long ago it was £3.99

Their tool brand is "Parkside" these days.
When I got mine years ago, it was "Powerfix"

When purchasing a rotory tool get the variable speed type , Dremel makes an outstanding unit that’ll last a lifetime....assortments of drills etc. are available on either amazon or EBay.

I have about 3 or 4 of them, I only bought one, the others were given to me. The bearings are atrocious quality.
One, if not the best would be a proxxon, that's why industry use them and not Dremel.

Strange,most the hobbiest here in the states use them and they ain’t cheap lol I had one of the old single speed ones for years and it soldiered on with nary a problem,remember catching my teenage son one afternoon cutting the muffler off his car with it.....was not pleased , but it kept going til the day I finally decided to spring for a new variable model that was 8-10 yrs ago and though I don’t use it much any more it’s still working just fine. Of course that’s just my experience with them.always found if ya don’t abuse a tool too badly and take care of them they last til you at least get your moneys worth out of’em ...

The US models seem much better than what is available over this side of the pond, over here they are smaller and cheaper looking.

(Altho their drill bits were still easily blunted even when used with a pin vice, I got thru no end of them in 2 or 3 years, where as I have only just replaced the Expo set I bought in the UK about 10 years ago)
