What would be the best choice of seller for a pair of H-L 1/16 scale Airsoft/IR battlefield tanks for home playing, let's say Tiger 3818 for a start and KV-1 3878 later as of October of 2020 from US?
I/m talking about options and places to purchase them from (from what I understand for example all-metal would be overkill for me from both budget standpoint and sheetrock walls ).
I've also heard that there is a new controller TK6.1S which nobody sells pre-installed onto the tank anywhere.
Let's put it this way - what's worth upgrading in basic plastic tank and what is not?
I've found one place https://www.matorctanks.com/ but the site looks abandoned (expired certificate) and June updates.

First, as I understand you'll either have to choose IR or Airsoft, I think!

The HL TK6.0/6.1 systems provide both BB and IR in the same tank. My new T-72 runs on the 6.0 and it came with both BBs and an IR mushroom.

I have only seen the TK6.1 system sold in custom high end Heng Long tanks like the Abrams with full metal hull and barrel smoke unit.

Finding a website for direct contact with model tank, and model tank parts, ought to be straightforward, you'd think. But, it often it isn't.
Take Heng Long, for instance- is it:

The former is just about right, but the next website appears to be an advertiser, who includes some Heng Long material on their website. Looks almost like a bit of cyber squatting going on there.
Then if you try the 'made in China online directory, you'll find several manufacturers associated with Heng Long tanks..

However, if you fancy a Taigen tank, in the US you have:

An excellent company- selling, as the name suggests, Taigen tanks; but they also do some Heng Long Tanks. In fact,, in the early days, Taigen tanks were simply upmarket Heng Long tanks.

Beyond that, I guess Ebay would be the best in the US- certainly in terms of allowing you to filter, and compare, offers and models.
