I have friends that have moved out to France, to save trying to spell the area's names, apparently they live in Departments 49 and 53.
Thank you for the introduction, for me it is very interesting, I've always loved those old sailing ships, and at 1/72nd scale, they certainly are something I would have loved to have had.
We do have a couple of sections, one for non RC Warships, and one for RC Boats.
And if ever you feel like posting any pictures of your ships, I really won't complain
Likewise we look forward to seeing any progress with your tanks as you progress
Enjoy the forum.

Now we need Fred the French to pop in and say hi. I don't think he's far from Le Mans.
Well, my friends have a house in 49, and a carp fishing lake in 53. I'm hoping to pop over in the new year.

Welcome along Mr Winalot
I love France & the way of life there, unfortunately my linguistic skills went down hill fast after I left school due to watching too many episodes of Alo Alo & only fools & horses.
My other passion is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, I spent 15 years trying to find where the beach section was filmed. Only to be lying on Pampalone (sp) beach near St Tropez for a huge penny to drop that the lighthouse at the west end of the beach was the same one from the film, I mean I’ve only been there about 20 times Doh! I immediately jumped in the car & was stood on the actual Chitty beach an hour later after an interesting cliff top walk. It’s a bloody nudist beach but exactly the same as when it was filmed 60+ years ago.
Oops sorry, I got carried away there lol
I’m sure you’ll fit in well here
Cheers
Wayne

Thank you for your welcome. I must say, so far this is by far the friendliest site I’ve been on. Just got to find my way around.
