Hello. I just thought that I would post a picture of my second RC Tank. It's a lovely Taigen Panther G metal Edition. Now, it comes as standard with the Taigen V3 control board etc but I would love to hear suggestions for upgrades to the way it handles and sounds.

You've got a very nice looking panther there Mr. jcole with lots of metal goodies

if you are sticking with the supplied mfu ( control board ) you will be pretty much limited to the supplied sounds and the way it handles, but if you were to upgrade it with one of the aftermarket boards you could theoretically put whatever sounds you want to on it and also fine tune it to your driving requirements
Cheers, Lee.

jcole134,
Nice Panther. I have the Taigen Tiger 1 mid version, all metal, BB unit with recoil. First thing I ditched was the smoke unit, being replaced by a Baroness 2 unit by G.I. Tank Smokers. Then I finally got fed up with the toy like quality of the radio. I upgraded to a FrSky Qx7S, a bit of a learning curve but a great radio. Then the V3 board became an Elmod Fusion Pro. And finally a Visaton FRS7 speaker.
It wasn't done all at once, but over about an 8 month period. One thing just lead to another. Whatever you choose to do, you have a great tank there. My Taigen Tiger has been pretty bullet proof, surviving all of my novice mistakes and abuse with no problems what so ever.
Regards,
Eric.
