Re: Up Armoured Pershing
That robbed mantlet armour is a neat touch mate, should look a treat once done

Re: Up Armoured Pershing
Thank you, gentleman
Carl, you know I couldn’t leave the hobby completely lol
Herman, got a plan for the mantlet to be in camo like a Panther would have had. Let’s see.
Roy, hoping to add a couple of Schumo details to it as well, nice quick and easy build. Something different too.

Re: Up Armoured Pershing
Cut the edges off the mantlet armour so the Driver and MG hatches can still open.
Played about with the fitting of the glacis plates so I can still remove the hull for access.
You will notice the cut outs for the lights - Super Pershings had the lights removed or moved, being different I wanted to keep them.
Its good to see the unusual, gives one ideas

Thanks Ronnie and Eddy
Re: Up Armoured Pershing
Bit of progress today, let’s hope my crazy idea works
Painted to resemble a cut off section of Panther armour - as per original, but left in camo.
Test fit with red oxide touch up and glacis armour painted.
Olive drab next.
Original condition Stug showing red oxide under the zimmerit.

Doing some great and original work on this, Adam. Nicely conceived and executed turret basket. Plaudits!
