Okay. My battery pack and receiver are too big so I’ve ordered a micro 2s lipo and a micro 4 channel frsky receiver. I will also be installing a Benedini sound unit eventually because I love sounds! But here it is driving about along my walkway. This model is solid, well built and drives very smoothly. It’s my first wheeled rc vehicle and I’m proud that it was produced by our very own WCP RC Models. Thanks Will and Catherine.

Man, Jim that's way too cool! I've been busy and away for a while. What an awesome thing to come back to on the forum! "She who must be obeyed" finally got a chance to escape to the cabin for a few days. After that she's been cracking the whip on all the Summer chores that I didn't get to, plus all the Fall chores too! Oh well, so goes life!

God, I thought I was enamored with Miss Leningrad, Lil' Puddle Jumper really has me by the "short and curlies"! That thing is sooo cool!

Cheers,
Eric.

I’m making slow progress. Base coat of paint and lipo batteries so far. A 4 ch receiver is on the way along with a Benedini Mini V2 sound unit. I’ve ordered a front Notek light and decals. This project is really growing on me and I’ve been driving the hell out of this Kubelwagen.
Here’s quick pic.

What you mean you don't like the green hahahahahahaha
the green is a hard colour to get used to, but nothing a bit of paint can't fix.
The thing is, it is a great quality filament and quality needs to come highest on the list. :)

Things are getting ready to happen now. Got the decals applied and now I’ve gathered the electronics and it’s time to install everything. I have a Notek light, 4 channel receiver and my Benedini Mini V2 arrived today! I’ll do the weathering and detail work last.

How in the world am I supposed to solder all those connector pins to that receiver? Too small and there’s no room to work! Any recommendations for a better receiver in case I screw this one up?
