ATAK Zimmerit for Panther

Perhaps this belongs more appropriately in the 'Questions' section, but still, it could be topic of further discussion. The topic has been raised before, but what's happened to ATAK in their 1/16 zimmerit line? Can't seem to find it anywhere and their web site leaves me confused. Can it still be had at all? I've placed a 'want ad' in that section in furtherance of the quest.

Atak zimmerit is now only available from atak model so you have to order from their web site

Thanks John. Much appreciate the link. But, if you live in the USA like I do, their warning message is a little off-putting. If any here living in the good ole' USA have had any experience dealing with ATAK in these Covid times, I'd be interested in hearing of that experience as very small packages do have a way of getting lost in the crunch. Even just a yea or nay would be helpful.

Atak got their timing about as wrong as it possibly could,
Toward the end of last year It decided to directly sell to its customers and no longer to sell its products through dealers, very shortly afterwards Covid 19 struck and the Polish Borders were shut and the Polish Mail service refused to send mail beyond the Polish Border.
So whether you are in Australia, The USA or The UK or indeed anywhere outside Poland you will have a problem accessing Atak Zimmerit through the mail or from a dealer.
Tips and Tricks on this Forum has plenty of examples of diy zimmerit some being better than others,
Why not give that section a read

I just ordered ATAK Zimmerit from Sockelshop.de last month for a 1/35th scale Tiger. It wasn’t available and had to be restocked. So they must be able to source the sets from Poland. ATM they also have a set for the 1/16th scale Panther G in stock. Might be worth a look.

Thanks all for your suggestions and recommendations. As for giving a go at making my own brew, let me just say that I'm only now becoming comfortable with my 'weld' technique....zimmerit might just be 'a bridge too far' at this time. Soren, thanks for the solid lead. Much appreciated.

As did l but did you get yours recently as l think he was unable to get wholesale stock in since the change. Always worth a call though. He used to have the general purpose uncut sheets too so may still have some of those.

yes you are right we tried to get stock but got told no more selling to dealers you have to go to his store to buy now
