When I look at yours I rather like the leaf spring hitch.
It’s your tank it’s what you make it

Nice fire extinguisher Tom
Did the firefly only have one?
Carl, it looks like you got your wish
Mr Exhibitedbrute, if your wife asked for your opinion about her new handbag, do you ever compliment her choice, or just say, "I prefer my own!"

You're welcome. Oops, just edited this bit after realising that the fire extinguishers are on either side like the Heng Long Tiger 1 radio storage tubes.

Re: Sherman firefly VC
If my wife bought a handbag I would be relieved as it would be cheaper than what she would typically buy.
I am going to upset the builder of mine though because I have seen a few things on mr toms firefly that I don’t have and I’m going to put them on it. Starting with fire extinguishers.
It is a very nice example I must admit and it just goes to show how much the kits have improved since mine was built

Great job on the paint weathering and chipping. And the color modulation of the green tones is out standing! Are you using oil paints or pigmets?

Like your others models, this Firefly is absolutely amazing. Congrats for details painting and weathering...
Sorry for my spelling mistakes, I try to do better every day...

Hey folks,
Got round to getting a crew sorted for the firefly, beautiful figure sculpts from Dean Godin at DGS. I really enjoyed painting these up. A little bit of extra hatch detail on the commander and drivers hatches as well.
I've also swapped out the slightly anaemic sounds of the ibu2ufo for the multi bank roar of a tk60, again care of dgs models. Really really please with how well she handles even in long grass. Running a 2s lipo and with 3 shaft gears there's still plenty of power
