So while I’m taking a break from the Sherman I decided to start making the truck look a little better with out spending any money

...and, you bought a bottle of paint?

No. Left over paint from the su-85. Still a bit more to do but it’s quite a step up from its original plastic

Have you some 'wood effect' paints for the sides. I've seen some pretty good efforts on similar rigs on the forum. Vallejo and AK paints for wooden handled tools, would do the job pretty well.

I have some wood paint. The seats have already been painted in leather colour, the back though will have a green wash on the wood to give it that worn paint effect.

It will eventually be upgraded with metal dif prop shafts. More accurate wheels a Clark’s board better battery and either a load of flimsy cans or a canvas to hide what won’t fit under cab

Very good, alot of us have enjoyed these trucks very much

I this at some point I will get hold of or make a low loader with a dolly to see how well it pulls a mostly metal t34, then in many unfinished projects time build a tank transporter

MikeB1986 on E-Bay has a very nice printed dolly available plus a 5th wheel to fit on it is on his site,
He also has some other very useful bits and pieces for sale,
Worth a look.

Still a little more to paint, but this is the general idea for it
