hi all
as you all know me a bit by now .. i am never satisfied with out the box models .. my spare turret department is some what full of pz3 and 4 a few tigers and and pershings too ... i also have enough plastic card to a fleet of armour conversions ... but as usual its time that just seems to run away ..
any way so far this week i have escaped the delights of the garden center ..yippie ! but i have to goto a different one some 20 miles away just to get a book! .. about aircraft .. part of a set i have been collecting for some time now .. funn .. i do complain about garden centers .. but some have fab book .. take a look and maybe a cuppa too
now ... dicker max ....
its a panzer 4 chassis .. the first thing i did with some help with a fab set of drawings and text was to lower the motor to a low profile as the DM has along sloping forward glasics plate .. i also worked out that the front plate with the tow hitches was alos much taller .. so to confirm my suspission i wnt to frome model center ( thats worth a £5 ) to grap there last trumpeter DM..and true to form .. i was right
so the first pic show the first steps .. gulp .. drilling the gbox was a bit of a gamble as i was not wanting to scrap it !
