Good afternoon all
In my warped wisdom, l thought it would be a good idea to take apart my tiger bb firing unit (which l believe to be a taigen type). Anyway, in a rush l took all the cogs out thinking l'd remember the order they go back, but forgetting that lm older and forget stuff quite quickly.
I don't suppose anyone knows or has a diagram showing the order of the cogs (incl small spring).
Thanks
(There are a couple of cogs which can only fit on a particular spindle) ta
P.S feel free to take a pop at my stupidity

Hi John,
Yep seen those diagrams, really good, but the cogs displayed don't seem to apply to my unit. There is only one cog which fits onto the spindle which in turn connects to the motor. There seems to be 2 cogs on the 'motor' soindle, whereas l only have one which will fit. I'll see if l can take a photo and show.
Thanks for getting back to me

Cogs fitted are the ones they fit correctly onto the relevant spindles. The motor spindle will only allow one cog to go on it.

Did it look like this unit? This is my old Taigen set up for BB and barrel recoil. If it’s like your air soft unit I could remove the cover and take a pic of the internal layout. If you are located in the US I will ship this complete unit, barrel and all, to you. I think it needs a seal replaced or something. Just let me know.

I've got about a zillion old airsoft units layin' around, want me to take a couple apart in front of the video camera?

These are brilliant. Cheers. Sadly lm in the UK otherwise ld snap your hand off

The only thing l can't get my head around is how does the 'motor' cog turn the other cog(s), as shown in your last pic. Its got me stumped

You mean the pinion on the motor? Once you put the unit back together you put the motor in and it mates up with that bottom gear.

Once you put the other half of the case back on, the motor will drop down like this, and the pinion engages with the bottom gear in the stack.
