Harder act to follow...

It's been wet and windy up here in the Highlands in the last week or so, but when (fingers crossed) I'm in receipt of a few days of unbroken sunshine from the Weather Deities, and calm conditions, I'm going to do some tank daubing.
Up until now, the weakest link in my airbrush setup has been the airbrush itself. I have two airbrushes, but they're Chinese, and anything but smooth and consistent in operation.
So...... having upgraded my compressor a couple of years ago, it made sense to get an airbrush made by a firm with a decent reputation. Thus, the one I opted for is an entry-level (but hardly cheap) model from Harder and Steenbeck: the H & S Ultra. The big selling point for me, though, is that the kit comes with two nozzles: 0.2mm and 0.44mm. This means it can go from fine detail, to a broad sweep, with a quick change of nozzle. Up until now, I've often used Tamiya rattle coats for priming and undercoating whole tanks. Hopefully, the .4mm jet will give the overall coverage I need, without recourse to rattle cans.

Anyone who has some experience of using the H & S Ultra, is welcome to add their hints and tips here. Woes too, but I'm hoping that isn't the case.
