And the most interesting stuff.......how it drives and swimm.
Driving is good, the 4x4 works good! You can se on the driving Vedeo nr. 3.
Swimming ist a bit slow, steering in water is not that good, you need space.....
When the "Propeller" is turned down, the wehhes do not move, only the propeller, but also only when the swimmer is in water, under it are 2 smal contakt´s that feels the water.
Videos:
And drivetest, it climbs the hill verry good, normaly no change with noraml 2 wheeh driven vehikels, so the 4x4 works good:
Thats for the start, greetz, Andy

Whether it was worth what feels like half a lifetime waiting for the Schwimmwagen I am not sure BUT a great review and Water/Road test

Good Morning,
Thank you for the video and the review! I was really impressed when the prop dropped itself into the water and it took off! I guess I will have to talk to Forgebear about getting of these now. ( which will mean a 1/16 Willys sometime in the future as well ) This Hobby is never ending....Those Crewmen would be perfect for my current Panzer IV DAK build as well. Wow! where does this stuff come from?
regards,
Painless

That looks different from the first video I saw. If I recall correctly, you had to change the drive manually by partially dismantling the vehicle.

Thanks for the info Andy, I am impressed at the prop dropping remotely but what were they thinking, the drive in water is so weak that it can’t push itself far enough onto the bank to drive out properly.
Are you sure the prop was actually turning & it wasn’t just the wind moving it lol
Cheers

Hey,
@ all thanks for the coments
@ Painless: "Those Crewmen would be perfect for my current Panzer IV DAK build as well. Wow! where does this stuff come from?"
here, they made by licmas-Tank, they have also new some DAK Tankcrewman:
https://heng-long-panzer.de/de/neuheiten/
https://heng-long-panzer.de/de/1-16-mil ... en-bemalt/ (sroll down a bitt for the licmas-mans)
@ silversurfer, i think/herd that ther was problems with the propeller, now ther are contacts that it only turn when its in water...safty first for kids....
@ Wayne

...i think jes, the prop could mouve a bit more...we make on the weekend the next test in water, ther we have 2 of thes and can take a closer look and compare, my time on that day was a bitt limitet, maybe the accu not complet full........
So there will be new vids and stuff after the weekend
