Mind you, you've only done what a lot of us have done ourselves, upgraded the Heng Long so much we've ended up with two of them lol.

Hi Gordon Welcome to the Forum
My very first "R/C" Tank in the 60s was a Tamiya Panzer 111,
The box said r/c when in fact you built the Tank then soldered all the control wires in place then you fed the umbilical through the back of the Tank to a little pad with a few buttons,
You started it up then like taking the dog for a walk you wandered around until the "Torch" Battery's went flat. That very quickly became my first Shelf Queen
