Hi guys, I'm curious about the Tamiya gearboxes.
If I were to fit a pair of Tamiya gearboxes into a Heng Long, would the old standard 2.4 gig board cope with the load and motors?

That’s a good question. I’m assuming that you mean the more modern gearboxes rather than the older servo clutch break systems?
Would this not depend on the motors voltage?

Mick the hl electrics will be fine. I think the tamiya motors are 385s similar size to the taigen ones.
