How did the Viet-Cong get an M41 underground? That's pretty impressive.

Something about burying it after dropping it in a pit.
I doubt these drawings are an accurate representation, they're just to give an idea of what it was like.
The tank may not have been so deep.

Ultimate camouflage! Take a whole battalion of tanks and bury them deep underground. No one would he able to see them. Might inhibit their operation a bit.

What nationality was Eartha Kitt? I recall she had a very strange accent. Did she only ever sing the one song about an old fashioned milliouonaaiireee? ;)

This is what happens when you listen to friends who tell you that being in the army is like one big party!

I expect most of you have seen Ghillie suits in action movies, or maybe you've even gone paintballing in one (or even fired something more lethal in one 8O ). Some of you might not know that the Gillie/Ghillie suit was actually invented by hunters in the Scottish Highlands. The term 'Gillie', or Ghillie, means 'servant' or 'attendant' in Scots Gaelic.
Here's an impressive Ghillie suit, for grassland conflict situations (not a lot of use in the Sahara...):
Ghilliesuit- or a form of Hirtsutism?
Ghilliesuit- or a form of Hirtsutism?
If you're one of those are people afflicted with extreme Hirsutism, all that's needed is for you to die your hair green, and you'll have the perfect Ghillie suit...
A case of extreme hirsutism.
A case of extreme hirsutism.
Lest I forget, I'll just say how impressed I was with Mick's Vietnam Tunnel System illustrations. Postwar, metal detectorists would have had utterly crazy readings above that entombed tank :D

If you had ever seen a Sniper in full fig your Ghillie in comparison (Who by the way were the official advisors to the British Army in body camo suits in the early years of sniper training  ) would stand out like a neon sign on a dark desert night,
I think the easy solution is to find yourself a Wookie :haha:

No, No, you don't want to do that. There's a lot people don't know about wookies. They smell really bad (flatulence troubles), they refuse to work Saturdays, and if you look at one wrong before he's has his second cup of coffee he's likely to take your head off. 8) @) :haha: :haha:
