You can call me Sam, I am so happy to have found this community, and I have so many questions for all of you. I am looking forward to learning more about the hobby and how I can get more involved. I have always wondered if there are events I can attend.

Oh, I forgot to say, I am from the Raleigh area of North Carolina, my main hobby that got me into RC was airsoft, which had a direct impact on me buying my first tank. Most of the work I have done to it is purely functional. Steel treads, steel gearbox, upgraded the airsoft gearbox with a new spring, and reinforced the road wheels.

Ask all your questions.. We'll always have answers (They may be wrong answers, but answers none-the-less).

I saw that there is a track tensioner for the hen long Walker bulldog, has anyone here used it or know how to use it?

Hi Sam welcome to the forum it was actually rc tanks that got me into airsoft there's plenty of knowledge here and answers to all your questions am sure so not to derail the thread to much, what airsoft guns you got?

You will find a lot of visual assistance

I am a newbie too . I have an old bulldog that needs some love (metal tracks on it). I don’t have much knowledge but have just stripped mine down to its component parts to start my plan . (Full metal Jacket inspired).
Hope you enjoy tinkering with it
