My first ever attempt at weathering on my first tank owned. Few more things still to add, a bit of experimenting to do with mud texture then the dreaded full coating with Matt dullcote

thanks people - really enjoying it, and surprised how different it looks to the out of the box version already

Reckon over time I have had as much paint on my fingers as on the tank

Its certainly addictive I'm already planning my next tank probably a Tiger 1, but need to research on here a bit more first with regard that and which one to actually purchase when stocks are available here in the UK

All depends on your budget for that Tiger.

The latest Heng Long V 6 version is getting some good praise from their owners, general jumbo loves them, and he has Taigen tanks to compare them with, which sounds like a good basis for a recommendation.
Although I don't think the plastic suspension arms have changed from their earlier models, and they were a little "flexible" for my liking, I have a few, from the oldest to the dual sound, which was the one before the V 6.
