Has any on built an is3 from mk modellbau.

I have a we do ignored the instructions and decided to mount on a metal hull. I have the back end sorted with a snug fit and the screw points lined up

My issue is as the front of the hull is part of the base plate it just bends round from underneath. As a result of this the only way at present I can see for fitting the front is to cut of the front under section of the resin kit and screw it to the front of the hull in place of the shackles and front armour plate.

Any suggestions?

Well that suggests slicing the back but there no mention on the front. Plan b slice both and mount the top on Lego or magnets
