Heng Long Tiger 131

Hey all, decided to make a (probably unoriginal) Tiger 131 build.
I finished taking off the rubber from the road wheels so I can paint the inner tires tan without having trouble with tape. I've been fiddling with my tiger for a few hours and I've come across the fact I need to cover the smoke system so I don't have any trouble with that. Is tape fine? Anyway, I took off the tracks and scrubbed them and in the process of taking the pictures I both broke the machine gun mount (super glue will fix that) and noticed I need to put tape on the LED's and IR system. Haven't gotten to doing that yet because that superglue is stubborn and does not want to dry. I jerry-rigged a system that keeps the gun up so I don't have to hold it in place forever. Will run to the store later for tan paint. Regardless, some photos:

Having photo trouble, can't seem to upload them. Anyway, I have also noted I have only one track mudguard and I designed a simple replacement for all who need: just visit the link here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4251000

Can you download the Tapatalk app? To upload pictures fast and easy to the forum I post them from there.

There are however experts on the forum that may have another approach

I just made a photobucket account, and I'll try that. I have a link and here it is: https://app.photobucket.com/u/SherFly19 ... c0e45332e1 I looked at Wildboar44's work on his and I think "There is no way I could do all that, let alone my parents complaining about my destruction of a $300 tank just for realism" I do enjoy all the effort he spent into making it as scale as possible, but for my first project, I can't go around wrecking tanks like that. (plus I don't have the means or money to get the parts he has.)

Today was able to remove turret without much trouble and took apart rear exhaust. Taped or removed things that didn't need painting, and if you are having trouble taking the new tks 6.0 body off just remove the tubes above the exhaust port. Hope that helps
