Been working on this little kit for a few weeks now and have it about done.
The kit is lacking in many areas so I've done my best with some artistic liberty to enhance the quality. I'm without any access to 3D printer so I've used styrene and also incorporated the Tamiya tracked vehicle kit to provide a decent set of tracks and sprockets ( thank you Lee!)
I had to build the rear deck from scratch using styrene and designed a way to easily remove it and access the electronics. It's running a 400mah 7.4v lipo battery in the lower hull.
I built a cloth cover and a wire frame for the rear deck.
The kit provided wheels are undersized but with the chassis they ( Vandra) reccomend they fit but are not to scale.
The basic chassis is from Banggood and it's a small plastic robot tank chassis. The stock tracks are rubbish so I've improvised.
It has an interior and I've added the windscreen.
I've added a das mikro sound card with engine sounds and under the tarp in the bed is a neatly disguised 4 ohm speaker in an enclosure from Haya. With the Das Mikro it's quite loud
It has an electronic speed control from Hobby King and is mated to my turningy 9xr radio.
I will post a video of it running about soon.
