Some 'gun soot' pigments applied to the muzzle break
And some graphite rubbed over the edges for a more worn look. It's just the holes that annoy me.
1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!
I'm a happy man.

Great work Marco, it's surely going to be a show stopper when you complete it

He needs to compensate, yes.
At least, that's what he said.
(and that's what she said haha!)

Then I finally spent some time making streaks etc. on the turret. Nothing too fancy, just to bring it to life
The metallic look on the start of the barrel is graphite again
Gun Soot pigment
...and the result

Lovely work Mr Peter
I use soft pencil a lot on my tanks to simulate worn paint areas too. I must try getting graphite powder & see if it’s easier to get a better result.
What product is that gun soot ?

Also colored the cupola persicopes
With this nasty stuff
It's slimy, sticky and smells bad but works really well for what it's supposed to do
And that's the state Gunther was in when I took him to the largest Scale Model Show in The Lowlands @Goes
You can see him in action here:

And a good time to like the video and subscribe to my channel. My subscribers are really special - because there are so few hahaha!
