seems to be out of stock everywhere, if someone has an unused set laying about I would much appreciate buying it off of you.

I cannot remember a time when I last saw "ATAK" Zimmerit for the Panzer 4.
Anyone who knows of a dealer with it in stock I would be most pleased

They dont seem to have it listed for the Tamiya Henschel King Tiger which is a bit odd seeing as the make the stuff.

ronnie42 used the Trumpeter zimmermit kit on his 1st generation rc king tiger viewtopic.php?f=21&t=25091
you could ask him how well it fits and perhaps go for that kit instead.

ATAK Model We will no longer sell 1/16 sets at wholesale prices. They will only be available in our company store.

I have the Tamiya supplied Zimmerit from my 2017 Tamiya KT build. It looks OK, but I prefer a bare 'metal ' look on the KT, especially with the Tamiya's subtle turret pitting. Just a personal choice, I guess.
I don't know how much more superior the Atak version is to Tamiya's own offering, but the pack I received looks perfectly fine.

When I got Gary Farrow to zimmerit mine (torro king tiger) he couldn't source it in this country. He had to get it directly from Atak.

ahh maybe I will just stick with bare metal finish, I did notice and like the casting pores in the plastic Tamiya did.

I have one in the pile of to do for a static Trumpeter but I did see if it would fit the Tamiya one a while back and found it was not perfect. While it could be made to fit with some putty it would need a fair bit of fettling, mainly on the turret.
