Hey ho,

here i want to show 3 tanks of the 80´s.
I grow up in the era "Vogelsberg/Germany" and we had every year in the 80tis and early 90tis a looot of Reforger exercises, almost US, sometimes BW.
So my heart pumps since this day´s for tanks and tanks in action.

The typical MERDC camo (european winter) is one of my totaly favorites, equal if WW2 oder modern.
Im not so into the modern thing, but in memory of gooo old days, i build thes 3 tanks (maybe 2 more are coming).

An M113 with trailer
An M1 (rebuild it a bit, that comes closer to the early M1, but not the maingun, i made some compromises)
And an M548 (i get it as an not finished thing, so i built it ready and give em colour)

Here are some pic´s and a smal video:

It seems you have built a fantastic, and nicely mixed, collection of tracked vehicles

I was stationed in Germany in the late 70s and early 80s and got to participate in a reforger exercise so I understand how you feel. Even though I was a lowly private serving guard Duty on the road to the range, it was still very, very cool to look down into the valley and see those tanks running around and firing at different targets, and then the Jets would come across and drop bombs and it was like the ultimate fireworks display and I got paid for watching it. I thought that was pretty cool.

Hi,

Thanks for the nice words.......
Oh, that sounds good to be part of the action

sorry for the late answer...
The M113 Polykit (Fräßssatz) is from Stephan Eisenbarth /Germany, here:

The M584 was from "Modellmanufaktur Rhein Nekar"/germany Olaf Lang, but he closes his shop some years ago, this is his aktuell group:
