RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

Hello Tankers!

I have been in the RC airplane hobby for about 10 years. I love warbirds and jets (anything scale) and about 2 weeks ago one of my favorite airplane distributers (Motion RC) showed some videos that they will be selling Heng Long Tanks. I watched a bunch of the videos they made and wow these things are cool. I love to weather my RC planes and customize them and now I will have to do that for some tanks too. So while I was searching on the internet I came across this forum which seems to be the best of the current forums with Tank threads like RC Groups or RC Universe.

I look forward to getting into the tank side of the hobby. Any new RC, is good for me!

Welcome, Jim! A lot of RC flyers seem to gravitate (literally) towards more earthbound vehicles in time. Part of the attraction could be that tanks/armoured cars, and the like, are less likely to end up mashed, or crushed like a concertina, than a 'plane.

Welcome from another Jim from the USA. After 1 year of rc tanking I’m wanting to dabble in rc warbirds as well. Hope you enjoy your new hobby.

Thanks everyone. Some really cool stuff happening on this forum. I think I will be starting with a Heng Long Tank as I want to weather and paint one first and don't see myself doing too much bashing around yet.
