hi all
i am after a bit of advice please .
i have bought a 360 bb taigen slip ring set .for my panther g .
when i opened her up i seem to have a problem with the amount of wires comming from the turret .
on the taigen plug provided there is a 4/3/2 plug see pics .
but coming from my turret there are 3- 2 pin connectors .
i have plugged in the 4 pin but it then leaves me with the 3 2 pins to plug in
1 from the rx unit replaced by tagen kit one
1 for turret control l/r
and other one for elevation .
i have tried this on an older panzer 3 and it had the 3 and 2 wires in the turret only ?so it works .
but the panther g has the newer barrel elavation mech hence extra wires .
i can plug in the turret so it turns but thats it no elevation .
can any please tell me how i can wire this in so it all works as im a bit stumped .

Perhaps the HL slip ring would be a better fit than Taigen:

Make sure you anchor the "other" end of the slip ring somewhere otherwise they tend not to slip & wrap the wires around everything.

I've had the slip ring 'flash fry' in the past, and know what a relentless niggle it can be, especially with all those fragile looking wires. Take Rob's advice about anchoring the wires securely, and also watch out for any possible entanglements with objects in the lower hull. One more thing: Happy New Year
