French cavalry tank S-35 SOMUA

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Outstanding! I'm in constant amazement at the tanks being produced by the "little guy" (and I mean that as a true compliment) in your home workshops, while the big companies fall all over each other copying the same tanks over and over.
That Somua and the Char B1 are superb! And is that Hotchkiss or Renault hiding in the corner on the table?

Well presented and finished.
If you wake up in Baku inform you in advance, I will meet you and arrange a short tour! We have something to see.

ilgar ismailov, can you explain more about the tanks you build. I see the great little "crates" (boxes) for them, and that makes it seem as if they are for sale. Is that so?
Good question! It's time to explain.
For more than 7 years I have been studying the production of RС tanks in Azerbaijan. He began with piece production (T-28), then mastered small-scale production (T-26,SAMUA,T-70 and others), and a year ago he prepared and released a pre-production batch at the plant (T-26-38 years), where he was invited as a project manager for another project.

Thank you very much for the assessment!
You probably mean Reno D2, Colonel De Gaulle? This tank is also prepared for a small-scale release (5-10 pieces). The fact is that I have the main job, and this is my hobby, like you. But I tried to create a small company to produce these models in Azerbaijan. I already have more than 13 ready-made developments with alpha and beta tests, ready for release.

I can arrange the release of such sets, but I don't have time to engage in their production.
I was trying to create a co-production where you could delegate production to others. We had a good project with Voronezh (Russia) (B1 bis), but it didn't work out. Then I went to Ukraine and released some of the details with them for T-26-1938. It was an excellent project and the next was the release of the SOMUA S-35, but alas, a war began.

In Azerbaijan, I launched the production of a low-pressure casting and track T-26 model on a high-pressure mold. I sent the first batch to Finland, Germany and the Czech Republic. Although I received positive reviews, I could not release without support.

ilgar ismailov, thank you for all the photos! I always enjoy seeing pictures of RCTW members, and those buildings are awe-inspiring! Please keep us informed if you might have kits available for sale to ship to the UK and/or US.
