WANTED: 1/16 1100X18 DUKW Wheels & Tires

I hope that someone can help me with these items. I recently received a 1/16 scale DUKW hull and I am in need of 7 wheels and tires as well as all other detail parts (i.e. the anchor, muffler system, etc.) Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Have you got stl files or 3d models of what you need? Were the tires on the dukw the same as the CCKW, or maybe the Diamond T wreckers? Tank Modelbau has tires and rims that might work for you.

Thank you Max-U52 for the quick reply. I do not have stl files, as I don't have a 3d printer. I wouldn't know where to start with one, if I did. LOL I will check out the site that you posted and see what I can find there. The DUKW wheels and tires are larger than the CCKW's wheels and tires, if I remember correctly.

Hello Max-U52,
I checked out the site and didn't find anything that would work. They had the tires and wheels for the M-35, but not for the DUKW. I know that the DUKW was designed for these wheels/tires, but, I hope to use the correct size of them on this model, if possible. I had hopes of finding the correct ones in 1100X18 in. in 1/16.

Hi Jack,
If you look at model boat sites you will find items that will cross over to the Dukw such as the anchor etc, if you do not find the exact one that you need you could always modify it, that's what I did with mine

They only used so many different size tires in World War II so it might be the same as the ones I'm putting on my tanker truck. Tigers 6 is the resident expert on that. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll chime in. In the meantime, I'll see if I can find some photos.

These are about the same diameter as the tires that come stock on the WPL/JJRC trucks, considerably bigger than the ones on my CCKW and WC51, but I'm not sure if the rims will work for you. I'll have to look some more at the DUKW rims.

Hello Lee,
I am looking on the Krike Mode Boat site right now. It is where I found the woven boat bumpers. I will continue on to look for the anchor, like the one that you used on your DUKW!

I have 8 of the rear wheels and tires from that 1/16 scale truck on order right now. I don't have any of the front wheels though. I hope to find some of them.
I also have another online friend that does 3d printing, looking for the 1100x800 wheels and tires. I hope to hear from him once he has an answer.
