3d print/engrave/router

Post by RobW »

Has anyone come across these? We all know how useful printers are, and how expensive it is to print flat sheets. Will one of these fill in the gaps?

"3 in 1" in most cases are not good in any category. I would rather spend money on proper CNC machine.

These things are really shiny boutique machines aimed at those with more money than sense - FDM is great for midsize parts, but their £1000 machine has the same print area as a Ender 3 and won't do a whole lot better job (and I'm not sure how easy it is to tear down their print head in the event of a jam). If you want a router for cutting sheets of plastic like Chris Ludwig's kits, you aren't doing much of anything in 1/16 scale on even their biggest machine.
