Hi everyone
Being working on this tiger for the last few weeks. No major upgrades electronics wise just the basic heng long v6 mfu. Added a few things like metal Barrell, metal tracks. I wanted to try a single colour tiger because I have always gone for cammo. Because it is one colour I needed to keep it interesting with things like shading, paint chips etc. Overall I a pretty pleased by the way it’s turned out. It hasn’t cost a fortune, and I am impressed by how good the new heng long electronics are compared with a few years ago. Just want to do something with the tracks, not sure I like them silver and shiny
I would love to hear your comments good or bad

Great looking Tiger Glyn!
You've done a fantastic job detailing, painting and weathering.

I think your weathering skills make that Tiger stand above most others. Very good job.

Very nice job Glyn,
Out of interest do you have a reference for the fuel barrel on the engine bay that includes the fixtures holding it in place ?

Thanks for the very kind comments guys.
Re the fuel Barrell
It's just one from my 'bits and bobs" tin just balanced in place. I would be very interested in information regarding how this would be fixed in place.

Further to the Tiger1s 200 litre Extra Fuel barrel, Aber sell a Photo Etch Number 16158A which gives greater detail for a total of 4 barrels as well as a number of Jerrycans.
The product is of the high quality that we have come to expect as normal by Aber.

Very nicely weathered, Percy! Did you use pigments for that, like the Tamiya Weathering Master, for example'?
Well, whatever you used, you achieved the perfect level of age-effect.

Some folk go just a tad too far, I think...

No pigments were used.
The whole tank was sprayed grey then sprayed with hairspray. Then the yellow colour on top and paint chips using water and stiff brush. Oversprayed in black to give shadows then a brown wash with most of the wash wiped back off again.
Just the tracks to do so I might go for pigments when I do those

Beautiful looking model, painting and weathering has come out a dream. If anyone has the part number for that Arber set, I for one would be highly interested.
