It just goes to show that there are probably 1000s of undiscovered inventive, and talented, people out there who will never reach the public's gaze. That's because the media are obsessed with parading talentless
mediocrities (aka 'Celebs') before us, whilst getting the trout-pouting, dumbed-down generation, to imitate them.
Ok, a sub made from jam jars is not likely to win the Nobel prize, but at least it could inspire folk to push new scientific and electronic boundaries. That's far healthier than pushing the TV remote control, and wallowing in lard.
