TAIGEN TIGER 1 TORSION BAR ANCHORS

G'day folks
Had a horror discovery on a mates Taigen Tiger 1 during a partial strip down for painting.
2 of the swing arms came out...........no big deal, it happens.
BUT, once I took the electronics plate and gear boxes out, found that there are 4 of the torsion bar fixed end components broken.
There is a small clip that secures a brass tube over the end of the torsion bar on the fixed end that in turn is secured to the rails that run down both insides of the hull floor.
This tank is old(about 6 years) but has only done a total of 2 hours running & never been abused.
I can only assume these are an old design, prone to failure and its just not been noticed.
Need 4 of them.
Thought we would try you guys before going to Imex.
Cheers
H

Do you mean clips like these?

Do you not feel confident to make some out of piano wire or an old suitable sized spring?

Thanks Mr SOAG, but it’s the bit that the clip goes onto.
It has a slot in it for the bar, and is screwed onto the rail.

Herman just like Australia and New Zealand and indeed most of the rest of the World the UKs currency is Decimal,
You call it Dollars and Cents we call it Pounds and Pence,
100 Pence makes a Pound,
So 99Pence (Usually shortened to " 99P") is one Penny short of a Pound.
And with the £ searching for the bottom of the Marianas Trench now is the time to buy from the UK

At least it isn't as bad as what they say about you Herman. . . .
However, I think you're ok, even if you are a penny short of a pound. . . .
As for the repair kit, Imex doesn't seem to have them, and a Google search wasn't fruitful, forgebear is the only place I've seen them.
